Kelly: Helen, you have been with Winston for 6 years! What is your favorite thing about working here?
Helen: At Winston, there are many opportunities to grow professionally. Pivoting to a new role or area is within anyone’s reach as long as the person makes an effort.
Kelly: You have held a few different positions over the years and recently just got another promotion which is great! What responsibilities are you looking forward to in this new role?
Helen: I’ve enjoyed addressing client-facing matters in my current role; now, I am ready to address the issues at the configuration level to optimize our system in a way that minimizes the need for manual changes and prevents system errors.
Kelly: You also train and help a lot of new hires within your department. How would you describe your training style?
Helen: My training style is mentoring by challenging; by this I mean that my role is to push the mentee to be what they can possibly be.
Kelly: What are your goals moving forward with Winston?
Helen: My main goal is to become an expert in this field. To do so, I am constantly focused on continuing to learn and taking advantage of learning opportunities when they come my way.
