Questions

Q: How long have you been with Winston?

Stephen Bradley: 32 years, as I started part-time in March 1992, I’ve been in my current role for about 24 years.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Winston?

Stephen Bradley: The key is to help people fulfill their insurance needs, although they may not always see it that way. Winston’s has a family atmosphere that makes it more comfortable to work here and receive support from your co-workers.

Q: What skills or qualities do you think are most important for your role?

Stephen Bradley: Patience, a good understanding of how certain types of insurance work, and not hesitating to ask a question when you aren’t sure about something.

Q: What project or accomplishment are you particularly proud of?

Stephen Bradley: There’s been a lot over the years, but if I had to pick one, it would be my involvement in some of the plan and screen setups in our Integrated Benefits Solutions system.

Q: How did you start your career, and what inspired you to join Winston?

Stephen Bradley: I was a senior in high school and was asked about part-time work while in school. As I started working and doing some projects and seeing the work being done at Winston, I enjoyed it, so I stayed, working through college and continuing from there.

Q: Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of work that you’re passionate about?

Stephen Bradley: One of the things I enjoy is walking/bicycling on trails, especially old rail lines converted into trails. While at the office and on my lunch break, I am usually getting a walk in along the rail trail by the office. Other hobbies I enjoy are photography, model trains, and reading.
